I just eyeballed it. The sign on the other side of the street is set back very few feet, so it would seem that the sign on that side should also exist very few back. Placing it within the easement. But that was just me eyeballing it. Feel free to go out to the intersection of 8 and B and check it out for yourself.
You are correct on the easement maintenance. This is what I received in an email this morning: "The Stop signs at Moho Road and Road ‘B’ are not county maintained installations." I believe they're trying to get out of installation based on the technicality that the stop sign would be facing B Rd and not Moho.
