Aloha-
The Pahoa Pantry and Soup Kitchen completed it's first day of distributing free groceries to the needy (while the soup kitchen was also serving meals) and we gave food to over 90 individuals who represented themselves, their spouses and their entire families. These nice and grateful people in our community received apples, oranges, bananas, rice, pasta, cans of beef stew, vienna sausage, noodles, juices, bread, etc., etc,.., it was the first of many more great days to come and it was a blessing for us all to be there.
Thank you for all who support the program and we welcome the public at any time to come down on Tuesday's and Friday's at the Pahoa Community Center at 4:30 p.m. to take part in FUN, FOOD, and FELLOWSHIP while helping to serve those in need.
God Bless You Alll
