Education as it is now might be welfare, but education should be an investment.
I expect my children to carry on the torch, lead, and pass the torch to their children. We are where we are now because of previous generations giving the next the tools to succeed.
That is one of the biggest failings of the current generation, we are failing our kids and are actively sabotaging them. We are teaching them to take tests, not to think, explore and grow.
