Before the Moral Majority and the AMA declared themselves gods supreme, for millenia women aborted often using herbs. They assessed the situation, would the coming winter be too cold, was there enough food for the clan, tribe or community at present? Did she have enough kids as it is and another would be a burden to her, her husband, her other kids other people?
It's surprising with our level of education and culture, yet very telling just how primitive are humans today. Giving birth in this situation is too bizarre and disturbing to contemplate. That's way too much drama and new form of ignorance.
From our studies of "primitive" cultures around the world, we know they were unanimously in agreement in that the soul doesn't enter the womb until the 9th month. This is before t.v. and a fast pace of life, when humans needed to use all their senses including instincts to stay alive. It was normal to be in tune, in the flow with a heightened sense of awareness.
