I keep reading that it is not about the TMT per se, but about the way it was pushed through without proper consultation with the Native Hawaiians (at least some of them). So the fact that it is such a dire threat to the water table is just a huge coincidence? And the other telescopes were not such a threat? Till now that is? And the 8" of rain that falls on the TMT is going to affect Puna where it rains 30 times as much? And where everyone is on catchment?

I envy the "protectors" for their lack of ability to feel shame.
