Briefly, IMHO:
dakine is correct - there appears to be an intention of reconciliation seen through actions such as the Apology Bill, the Akaka Bill, and the DOI meetings.
HiloPuna is correct - these efforts have been roundly criticized, almost universally rejected, and changed nothing.
opihikao is correct - where do we go from here? Not sure, but we're going there together; whether it's for better or for worse is up to us.
