Steam Vent Inn
#10
Thank you for following.

I am still waiting for someone to help with last clues to this puzzle.

#1 A person named Jon Toriumi joined CAMPUS CRUSADE FOR CHRIST AT UCSB part of First Christian Church in March 2003. That places him in California. Working for a Christian group.

#2 Lee closed the sale of the property early 2004. He left Hawaii soon after.

#3 Spring 2004 till Fall 2004, someone was cashing checks sent to Lee in a bank in Alameda CA. Yes, the FBI was asked who cashed them. The most logical reason Lee didn't cash them is they were reportable income and would have hurt his SSI. If that bank comes back as Jon Toriumi he is nailed.

#4 Fall 2004 - I stopped all checks to Lee per a garnishment order for Lee's frauds. If you haven't figured this part out, I sued Lee for trying to scam me and won. Actually, won the case like 6 times.

#5 Winter 2004-2005 Lee returned to Hawaii flush with cash. Lee's goals were to overturn the garnishment order and toss Horowitz off property.

#6 Early 2005. Did I mention Lee was flush with cash? Despite being on SSI and no income, Lee managed to produce almost $100,000 cash. This cash was taken to the bank, changed into securities and given to his lawyers. The bank tellers broke the law and divided big payments into separate securities below $10,000. It was reported but no action taken.

#7 It has long been suspected Lee had a deep pocket somewhere in Pahoa. That person funded his lawsuits.

#8 Around mid 2005? or 2006 three people visited me and claimed to be from a church. They wanted to settle. Sure, I said. Just pay what you owe me. They left. It is only 10 years later that I learn of Jon Toriumi, his association with a Church and his scamming of Church members in Pahoa.

#9 I do not have a firm arrival date of JT in Puna. I want to know where he lived.

#10 I have an upper bound for his departure from Puna. Owing to the failure Hawaii police to succeed in pressing charges, certainly someone filed a complaint, JT was free to go back to California. It appears he continued to scam.

Conning for Cash or Crusading for Christ?
By Bill Lascher
VENTURA COUNTY REPORTER | JANUARY 14, 2008
His father was a minister who helped revive Little
Tokyo, but was Jon Toriumi a catalyst following in
paternal footsteps, or a con man? The mystery he
has woven stretches from Hawaii to Southern
California.

#11 I have a possible unexplained reason why Seattle WA is involved.

#12 If you were scammed, yes, I have a good idea where your money went. However, first help me clear the name JT or .....

Then, after that I want to chat about a more serious matter involving a gate, and a truck and driver that were trying to leave a property.
