Besides the critical load path and the basic stuff, what are you adding this year to your hurricane kit that you could have used last year to make it easier -
#1 for morning after
#2 for the duration
My #1 - I am going to have preps together for coffee ahead of time. (grind it & in baggie, with french press, stored in pot for boiling with 2 coffee cups, dry creamer, and sitting next to propane burner with a gal of water next to it). Also breakfast burritos made and frozen ready to heat on BBQ.
My #2 - More little pkgd mayo packs (mustard and ketchup tend to do okay), and more heavy duty tin foil rolls. Camp shower. Retractable clothes line and clothes pins. Milk carton type basket for cold stuff to go to cooking area and back in refrigeration (in one step).
