It looks like the Pahoa Post Office road intersection will get a light in Phase 3 of the Keaau-Pahoa Road Project. While the egress to HAAS is at that intersection, the reason for the light was more for the Post Office access. The irony is that the Post Office has said they will be moving to the new Brison center, the shopping part doesn't concern them. It looks like that center will go in but maybe scaled down without a main grocery store.
