when the albizia dies it won't drop large limbs nor topple all in one go. They tend to dry out and drop in small pieces. Also, when they do dry out, they are about as light as balsa wood. Even when one is fresh cut and on the ground, it is easy to pick up a limb that is 8' long and about 8-10" in diameter due to the lightness of the wood. I have killed out many albizia and watched them die.. they just break down where they stand. The bigger the chunk, the closer to the base of the tree it falls.
