The History of the overthrow told by Hawaiians
Yup, thanks HOTPE, excellent read. I was impressed by the author's efforts to exonerate the Hawaiians of any premeditated ill intent, save for the thieves of the cutter. Typically, emotion distorts accounts when multiple deaths occurred. Also impressed with the courage of the Hawaiians; most first encounters with firearms result in immediate panic and retreat.
