So will the homeless, learning the ancient ways of subsistence living, gleaning fruits and vegetables from the gardens around them, foraging for whatever may be salvageable from outdoor rubbish cans, hunting the occasional pig and goat, power from jacked solar panels, getting some coin from the occasional carjacking. Hasn't that been the goal of Puna for a long time, to be a model of subsistence living? Gleaning, foraging, recycling, reusing, getting totally off the grid, it will be environmentally educational as well.
