Aloha John,I for one am not complaining about Luquin's food, it's great, better than any Mexican I've had anywhere, here or the mainland, just that it's a little run down. I haven't been there since it's been painted. Hopefully they've changed the decor too. (the posters of Mexico have been washed so many times they're blurry). As far as Paolo's, Hate to dis them, I know they get raves, but I had a really bad experience there: First, our waiter acted weird, like he was high on ice or something, jittery and sniffing constantly, when my food arrived it was cold, and when I opened my fine linen knapkin 2 cockroaches flew out of it. And we paid over $30 per person? For that? That was a couple of years ago and I haven't/won't go back.
