Ugh, I hate these things so much, even more than the Cane Toad which I also have lots of. I've killed dozens within a day before. I've found them climbing a chain link fence. (why?!) I found them on the chicken's food feeder which is suspended off the ground and hanging by a rope. How did it even get up there?! It is very satisfying to crush them, but unfortunately that hasn't seemed to reduce their numbers even by a little bit. For such a slow moving creature, they sure do seem to make up a lot of ground. The first year I lived here I didn't see any, now they are a daily appearance, so I wouldn't be surprised if they are spreading.
