A whole forum? Kind of grand excess, eh? Seems like your post will suffice as the thread. With the total meltdown of the Republican party and the candidates now appearing to be the Wacko Kings of Wacko, not a whole lot remains except watch the clown show.
It is awesome to see the pendulum starting to swing. The Republican party is also the party of Big Oil. The solid red states were a band through the center of the country to the Gulf and the rest of the southeast. The market manipulated commodity price of oil went up by 4 times the price when the Republican Regime took over.
Pre-peak oil arriving is causing all this to collapse. The Oil Belt will be laying off thousands by next year. This coincides with China slowing down its overheated economic growth of 10% per year to 7% per year. This is already starting a global slowdown for commodity prices such as oil and metals. Another big event was Shell Oil was allowed to drill in Alaska, against several years of protest (remember Palin "drill, baby, drill"?), spent $7 Billion for the rig and just came back not finding any. They announced no plans to go back. The latest news is Canada is going into recession, cost of sand tar oil exceeds market price. Venezuela inflation has now hit 159%, their oil no longer in demand. The rumbles are only just beginning.
"Aloha also means goodbye. Aloha!"
