It looks like to me these office people need to know they don't work for the BOD or any individual BOD director i.e. the Treasurer or VP. They work for the GM, why isn't he handling these issues (that's a rhetorical question)?
Because first, they're unwilling to let go of the power and entitlement they think they have over HPP biz which they've had since July 2014. Secondly these admin type of responsibilities have been written out of the GM's job descript by the VP. He may be unqualified to do what our bylaws say is the GM's job.
Things here are beyond asking or commenting whether these 2 directors are incompetent. It is obvious now they are hiding something. This is not just about being "control freaks", although they are, these actions should have every HPP member very concerned.
One more thing, there is a new admin person in the office. Someone tell me how she was hired if there was no BOD executive meeting in which to carry out this kind of personnel decision? Wouldn't that be the normal procedure?
Are you sure there's a new admin person? There's been 2 ladies who've been hired within the past month or more. An ofc admin type position and a bookkeeper. That gives us a total of 3 female employees. I believe the hiring for the 2 ladies was done in an exec session.
