I agree wholeheartedly the gov should have and NOW should be making and passing out traps with the first few cases. I've been told the Big Island budget was ridiculously low from cuts, in which case Oahu, the CDC and anyone else should have been called in immediately. Unbelievable.
Traps and GMO mosquito are needed immediately. The other diseases this type of mosquito can spread are absolutely horrid.
