I live in zone 1 and I knew the risks beforehand, watched Kalapana burn in '90. But I love it here, and so do a whole lot of others- that's the Punatics creed- "We're all here because we're not all there!"
 PS There are new houses being built on the fresh lava in Kalapana Gardens, they're even crazier than I am..... |
