Just proves the wisdom of DOT in not developing an emergency access road, so punatics can be quarenteened for any variety of reasons. Residents and emergency vechicles could use the newly dozed Chain of Craters Road and as they leave and enter HVNP their cars could be sprayed for and checked for mosquitoes.
This is a new mosquito virus that is causing birth defects in women that are pregnant when they are bit. It is an epidemic in Brazil, and we know how people in Puna like to smuggle in unchecked vegetation like Brazilian coffee and cocao now. This virus causes children to be born with half a brain.
