Who Is Wally Lau?

I read Wally Lau's resume on his campaign website, and one thing stood out. That was his complete lack of experience in any job setting other than government and tax-exempt non-profits. I'm not saying that it compromises his integrity or administrative skills, but it does pop the phrase "career bureaucrat" into my cynical mind. I'm waiting to hear more policy points from all the candidates before making up my mind, though. He might be the best on offer . . . or not.
