I usually read the headlines, at least, on both the Hawaii Tribune-Herald and Honolulu Advertiser sites. I check www.bigislandgrinds.com periodically; unlike most other Hawaii-based food sites, it provides info about this island instead of just (or mostly) Honolulu.
Two of my favorite non-Hawaii sites are the sports section of the Philadelphia Daily News, http://www.philly.com/mld/dailynews/sports/, which is one of the best sports sections in the nation, and Romanesko, http://www.poynter.org/column.asp?id=45, a source of news and commentary about journalism with links to newspapers and TV/radio stations all over the country.
