DaVinci, it would help if Russell used facts, and not fiction (he took a hit on the GMO issue because of his chosen "experts"). That's the problem (won't even address the geothermal comment; too far off base). Try search the bills and the positions taken, which is not being a "pain in everyone's ass", it's being ineffective due to lack of hard proof (for each and every issue, thus far).

BTW, the Shipman family has been here for seven, perhaps eight (or more), generations. Yes, if they get their "damn baby way", it's because they are part of the core (na'au) of Puna. They are not going anywhere, neither are the Lymans. Large land owners protect their assets, and the community as a whole. Can't make everyone happy, but I know the Shipmans (long before Mr. Walter) and they are of great substance; as is he.

Wonderland, indeed.
