Thanks for the advice. I actually already bought that stuff at Del's. It seems to work, but hasn't gotten rid of the infection, probably because I haven't been applying it diligently enough.
Kelleyerin Claybough seems to be on vacation for the moment. I have gotten a last minute appt. with Dr. Wood from Waimea Veterinary Associates. She comes down to Hilo/Puna one day a week. I'm always interested in learning about other vet resources though.
Yes, I would probably just up my treatment if it weren't for the cloudy cornea. All references I read say you should call a vet if the infection spreads to the eye. I'm always paranoid about uveitis, since I've had a donkey with it. It seems to recur over and over, and you basically need to put them on a permanent dose of aspirin, which is a real pain.
