Restriping the solution for Hwy 130?

This "idea" totally neglects pedestrian, bicycle and moped traffic. There is a stretch, you know the house with the big lava dome in the front yard, that narrows down to two lanes with very little shoulder on each side. LOL thinking what that will look like repainted to 4 lanes, and a shoulder on each side for foot and bicycle traffic. There is also that stretch from Orchid Land to Shower where the speed limit is 45 but you need to do at least 50 to keep traffic moving smooth, without jump merges from HPP trying to pull out in a gap. Most people are tailgating if somebody isn't doing 55 in that stretch.

HPP is the source of all the problems. Nuke that and the traffic burden and costs go away.
