Chuck, we moved here (Keaau) in June & had a rental in HPP (hence we were in the same place you are now). Our mainland Post office had no forwarding restriction on General Delivery, and our mail was forwarded (General Delivery, Hilo) for the 5 months it took to buy our house. The 30 day limit, we were told, was on how long Hilo would hold the "General Delivery" mail for pick up. I don't know if things have changed in the last 3 months, or if this is something to confirm with the Postmaster at your current post office.
