His "accomplishments" are irrelevant in this trial and will probably not be allowed by the trial judge as part of his defense. The only things that will be allowed are facts directly pertaining to the actions he took that are part of the charges. If found guilty, he can lay out his "accomplishments" during the sentencing portion of the process as part of a plea for mercy in sentencing.
