Success!!!! We followed everyone's suggestions - followed the breadcrumbs, so to speak and Voila! We now have beer making supplies!!!!
For anyone else interested, here is the full scoop:
Brew Hawaii
Ross A. Fuller
116 Keawe St.
935.8857
brewhawaii@aol.com
His wife does run the party supply place and he sells all his brewing gear upstairs. He's just now getting things organized, but he has a great stock of all kinds of things - including carboys and kegs, beer and wine kits, controllers for freezers (so you can keep those kegs nice and chilly!), books, corks.... well, you get the picture. Prices aren't bad at all, and he is very friendly and knowledgeable. His wife is a sweetheart, too. He used to have his place up in Volcano (that is the number you find in the phone book), but he's since moved down to Keawe St. So much for retirement!
Royall - you can bet we'll have some for the Puna Party. I missed the first one! Has anyone set a date yet??
