Who built the fishponds before the Tahitians?
#12
the word 'Menehune' in Tahitian means 'small'
'small in worth'
ie worthless people... iow slaves

the 1st haole mistranslated the word.. thus the happy small elves and brownies making ponds and rock walls in one night and fed only a shrimp each for the labor, BS.

in reality they were slaves.. the Marquesas people were conquered and enslaved, then tortured and killed off, by the 'Tahitain-Hawaiians'.. older books place the dates of settling Hawaii at 400AD for the Marquesas, 1200AD for the Tahitians...

save our indigenous and endemic Hawaiian Plants... learn about them, grow them, and plant them on your property, ....instead of all that invasive non-native garbage I see in most yards... aloha
