New Sub-Divisions?

It's my understanding that this area, everything between Pahoa village and Leilani Estates, has been divided into acreage farm lots of 35 to 100+ acres. Also, I've already heard of one pair of buyers who is striking a deal to sell several 5 acre parcels out of one of these lots, contingent on county rezoning. Rumour has it "they know someone" in local Hawaii government who can do it for them.
