Do take those quotes as the starting price. Most everyone that I know that built about same time as me have replaced their liner at least once.
Pete's tanks are nice, just out of my budget.
Went with 4 poly tanks and couldn't be happier. Mine are 4K each
Some thoughts.: you can plan to be expandable, gang the tanks together.
In addition to 1st flush, consider adding filtering before the tanks.
With multiple tanks, you have redundancy, not a great chance all tanks fail at same time. Just one hole in your liner tank and you could lose the whole tank.
Virtually no maintainance with the poly, never rust out.
And I know several people that upgraded from their regular steel walled/liner tank to poly. Would have been more economical to go poly initially.
If you think you could eek by on capacity you might consider these 300 gal tanks you find on Craigslist from time to time, just think thru the plumbing.
