No mention of the DUI's in the Star article...

He arrived here when he was 15. No US states were issuing licenses to illegals at that time. Even if he did have a D/L from Mexico, it would have expired by then.

BTW... If one does a search on eCourt Kokua in Hawaii County, he was also charged on 5/25/2007 with speeding of 68 in a 55, plus no driver's license and no insurance. Fined $366 and from the records, it appears he never paid it, as the case is still listed as activewith no date listed for the fine being paid, as is normal. It would go to closed status otherwise. Maybe this is what triggered the deportation issue?
