Billie, competition does exist, but if you create a landscaping business that is very reliable, does quality work with competitive pricing, you likely will be able to distinguish yourself from a lot of the flock. Landscaped yards with grass are around, and who knows what the future will bring for folks interested in other landscape features (and I agree that putting greens probably wouldn't be a big hit). I'm not sure that the number of yards with landscaping would be enough to support what you're looking for, and this would deserve a lot of examination. Good luck!
