Good example of the "Hawaii Compromise" -- it's not about what you want or need, it's always about what you can actually get. Consider yourself lucky that it's on the shelf at all.
In this case, shipping (from an eBay vendor who will ship) or forwarding (from a friend with a mainland address) will probably cost more than the HD retail bundle. (The new batteries are nice, and the chargers do fail eventually.)
That said ... if you manage to get one of these, they're compatible with the Y40/0.43 10" chain, available at HD.
