That would be a major NO SHlT!!! I did one once. I wouldn't do it again. Had to take that thing all the way apart. It was a stackable front loader. The bearing bracket was made out of some sort of aluminum alloy that apparently doesn't like some types of detergent which essentially dissolved the bracket.
