So I see a few comments about not registering your guns due to having MMJ cards. I have a couple of questions, what is the purpose of having a firearm illegally? Self protection? Hunting? Target practice?
Let's take self protection first. No matter how justified you are, felony charge for possession of unregistered firearm. I won't even bother talking about the civil costs when sued for wrongful death.
Next, hunting. So you have a hunting license and go pop porky for dinner. DNLR checks you, felony charge.
Target practice? Where? Lol so you get checked by a cop, felony charge.
Ultimately I believe in lawful ownership of firearms, but I would have some concerns with the mindset of someone who says I don't have to follow the law if I don't agree with it.
Interesting topic for sure.
