What a hoot! I just love where our threads run...hehehehe!
So as a teenager I owned A Child's Garden of Grass...I grew a plant from Hawaiian Gold 3rd generation seeds someone gave me...I kept it in my room under a desk with a light on it...I had a board in front of the desk so my dad wouldn't see...I came home one day after a gig (sang in a rock band) and it was gone and my father had shredded it up and threw it in the garbage compactor. He ranted about the cops could come and we'd losing the house, etc.
To this day he thinks it was something called "African Coleus" and that it was a rare plant and he felt guilty after my dramatic, heartbreaking floorshow. LOL! I had forgotten about that one...
