I didn't say UV won't kill things. However in the context of this discussion, the flow rates and low exposure in a household UV system doesn't kill much and definitely won't kill nametodes or RLW. If you read the first link I posted you'd see the large range of doses needed to sterilize pathogens (they say "destroy" but really it's sterilize 100% with a kill probability of 99%).
