Who my best friend is as a person and how real (painfully at times)he is transcends beyond anything else about his personal life or choices. It is the essence of our relationship and should be the essence of any relationship. It is what is important to me and nothing else. I would welcome any place becoming a Mecca for “gay “ tourist. In my personal experience you have a greater chance of meeting PEOPLE that are secure enough in themselves that they can be real with me while allowing me to do the same. Wyatt, your quote says it all and I personally can not wait until the day when the word gay is eliminated from our vocabulary.
