Got an email today from the Hawaii Island Humane Society stating that they had exceeded their fundraising goal for the mobile spay/neuter clinic. From the email:
"As always, we are simply overwhelmed by the outpouring of support from so many individual donors in our community and beyond.
As we had mentioned, the $100,000 goal we set for this campaign will be matched by the Laurence H. Dorcy Hawaiian Foundation.
On behalf of the animals and staff of Hawaii Island Humane Society - THANK YOU!
We'll keep you updated on the progress and we'll have an exciting opportunity for you soon, so stay tuned!"
