And, once again, I have to say that strict campaign finance reform, if done right, would end all political donations. If it's illegal to make political donations AND to accept them, how then would, say, the NRA put the squeeze directly on our elected officials? The Koch's, the oil companies, indeed, all companies and individuals would not be on the open market. Big pharma? Same thing. Right wing evangelicals? Ditto. Left wing extremists? Yep.
If these kids instigate stricter gun laws, I"ll give them a big hug. But, campaign finance reform would fix many of the problems we have in this country.
