respectfully disagree Tom ...for me (and many) flying these days is an awful lot like dental work ..... the less time in the chair the better
If it were not about travel time - steamships or the Pan Am Clipper would still be popular
Its also why the A380 failed to catch on and the single isle jets are selling like hotcakes ....spoke and hub vs point to point ....
that is also why Southwest and Alaska Air is flying non stop to destinations in Hawaii (and many other places), rather than routing through hnl ....they know what the flying public wants
