You kidding, right? Some of the roads actually are just tire tracks there and there are many many many properties where neither power nor telephone service are available. I attende one Homeowners Association Meetings a few years ago, most people do not want paved roads there, they are happy living with what they have. Bulldozing there will be very expensive if your lot is in the "boonies" and not easily accessible since the truck carrying the bulldozer will not be able to get there. If you decide to build make sure you will be staying there during construction, the walls of my friend's house just disappeared during construction one day.

Thank you Scott & Lucy for the horsey advice. Does anyone know if any of Hawaiian Acres roads support internet cable (Roadrunner)? Do all the roads have electricity available(I know a bit about the SSSP.) Obligatory road or electricity fees from the association? Any plans of paving more roads than 1 & 8? Any idea what it costs to bulldoze/rip a lot? (I would like an acre in the back cleared for the horse and an S driveway through the trees.) I hear the contractors are pretty slow - feasible to build a house within a year? Sorry for the barrage of questions, but really appreciate the quick answers!
