Sorry to burst your bubble Leo but recalling will not work either. It has been tried. It is next to impossible to get the 200 signatures needed (that would have changed with the proposed bylaw changes the board and GM refused to mail out for vote)but if you did, the board has the right to not let you proceed. They have the final say.
Katarina, a recall petition was done and it was successful.
The board has no right to stop a recall process. The rep tried to stop the recall, not the board. The rep failed in her efforts and resigned before the recall went to ballot.
Recalls can and will be successful. State law and our bylaws gives members a provision to remove a director if they wish. It is their right.
