I'm not going to get into a never ending debate here. I have lived here a very long time and know many who have lived here even longer. A recall has never been successful. Are we better off now than before Maynard resigned(and right before election time anyway). Simple... no. The board can decide to proceed or not proceed with a proposed recall; accepting or not the petition. Does anyone think anything will happen with boards like we've had? No again. And who has the cash to take such a thing to court, hire attorneys etc. No One. No government entity wants anything to do with these types of issues. You have to prove criminality, not just the assumption. I have known several people who have spent a lot of time, energy and money looking into such matters. All have quit as it is futile. You can try it and get things going only to have the court tell you to work it out amongst yourselves and if you win then it is up to you to collect which means more attorneys and court costs. Not trying to rain on your parade here but it's been tried to no avail. If you need to argue more here ..OK but just a does of the real reality.Food for thought.
