Much as I hate to say it, I think Wirick's Board has a better claim to "legitimacy" than the other Board, though that's a low bar in Orchidland. The Board Wirick sits on took advantage of loopholes, Bylaws weaknesses and member apathy to oust Board members they didn't like and replace them with like-minded individuals that were elected in "special elections" held during monthly Board meetings that usually had attendance of less than 20 people. They may not have violated the letter of the law, but their actions definitely contributed to the ensuing environment of lawsuits and counter-suits, restraining orders, etc. Members of the incumbent Board that Ric sits on were recently re-elected, though only about 200 votes were cast out of a potential voting universe of about 2000, and the winning candidates each only received about 150 votes.
