I think what a lot of people are missing is that the whole flu shots don’t prevent you from getting EVERY strain of the flu, for MOST people flu shots do prevent you from getting a strain that can kill you. Add to this that getting a weaker strain of the flu does increase your resistance to stronger strains of the flu (for most adults, without compromised immune systems).
So if you get the flu shot and still get the flu, you should realize if you are alive then the whole outcome was a success.
Whereas, prior to getting the flu shot most who got the flu just died.
