The only hold up will be waiting for the ground to thaw.
Alaska's climatic conditions make road repairs a very high priority item.
They have the equipment to do the job.
Plus, Alaska is a relatively well financed state, not the poor ne'er-do-well that Hawaii is.
It takes more than tourism to finance the graft, favoritism and other drains on our local governments, leaving little for fixing the damage.
