Regarding the annual audit...the board voted to post it on the HPP website so you will be able to see it at a future date. I don't know when but the board voted that it get posted.
The board just voted for a vendor to asphalt pave 1st road. They are the company that did the Keaau Long's Drugs parking lot. The intent was to finish 1st road since it's only partially paved. This will allow those in the lower part of the park to have access from Kaloli to Makuu. I thought it was a good idea and voted for it. In the future I will support a lottery system as everyone should have a chance IMO to get their road paved. The upper roads have had most attention because of their population and the amt of maintenance needed. I can see the logic in that but at the same time, it's not equitable for all.
If we had the membership mtg today, a forensic analyst was on the agenda to speak to the membership and take questions. The board has not hired him to do a forensic analysis for HPP. Since the membership voted unanimously for a forensic analysis over 2 yrs ago, I totally supported his desire to come and speak to you. You all should get first hand information and have the opportunity to ask him questions. He has spoken to the board a couple of times over the past 2 yrs and I am impressed with his credentials.
Also on the agenda was to be the Membership Mailbox Committee's presentation.
Watch for an upcoming announcement for a rescheduled Membership mtg.
It has also come to my attention from lot owners who do FB, and I do not, that Kathleen Shaw has posted inaccurate information on FB about the NC's work. The NC was planning on giving a report today as well. The deadline for accepting candidates is 15 March 2019 at 4 PM. The Candidate Consideration forms are available on the HPP website. Elections are for District 1, 6 and 9.
