Shrinking Mauna Kea permafrost?
#2
I am surprised that there is permafrost on either of our mountains here.
That it is shrinking and likely to disappear soon is not surprising.

Permafrost is taking a beating in arctic and sub-arctic areas.
The results are likely to increase the effects of climate change/global warming [take your choice] everywhere.

Was a Democrat until gun control became a knee jerk, then a Republican until the crazies took over, back to being a nonpartisan again.
This time, I can no longer participate in the primary.
