SPP 18-000199 denied "access not consistent with PCDP guidelines" and because County decided that Pahoa Feed needs a Special Use Permit even though the intended scope of their operations is a Permitted Use of Ag-zoned land per HCC 25-5-71.
Too bad Pahoa Feed can't move to the Orchidland site.
I suggest that we've reached the point where only deep-pocket corporations can afford to open a business, so we're just going to have fewer and fewer "local" businesses. "Growth management" indeed.
